Abstract

Many feathered dinosaurs have also been discovered, making it certain that birds are closely related to dinosaurs.
This book introduces not only living birds and modern extinct species, but also flying pterosaurs and Archaeopteryx, as well as terror birds such as Gastornis, which are not found in similar books, and small birds such as sparrows, with detailed illustrations and diagrams.
Classifying birds by characteristics such as "Birds that soar across the earth," "Birds that rule the sky," "Birds that headed for the sea," and "Wild birds of the mountain villages," it provides easy-to-understand explanations of the characteristics and ecology of each bird, such as how fast an ostrich can run per hour, how good the eyesight of an eagle hawk is, and why the cassowary is said to be the most dangerous bird in the world.

Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1973. In 2001, he established his own website for dinosaurs and paleontology (http://paleontology.sakura.ne.jp/). He is an illustrator who draws all kinds of living things for picture books and books. Recently, he has been drawing imaginary animals that consider all the possibilities of animal evolution. His main publications include "A Comparison of Extinction and Evolution in Animal History" (Bookman Publishing) and "Tortoise Shells are Ribs" (Softbank Creative Publishing).
