Abstract
This field guide provides details of 150 species of seashells which one can collect on beach. Author’s Information
Hitoshi Ikeda was former chief director of the Hayama Shiosai Museum. He specializes in marine biology, and is a member of the Malacological Society of Japan. He has been collecting seashells for more than 50 years and is an author of numerous books in area of seashells and beachcombing.
Yoji Matsuzawa is a photographer especially known for the photographs of underwater creatures. He also takes specimen photos for field guides. He is an author of numerous books concerning fish and other underwater creatures.
