Comedian, gag manga artist, and picture book author.

Born in Kyoto Prefecture, he is affiliated with Grape Company. As a manga artist, his representative works include Salaryman Yamazaki Shigeru, Watashitachi Kekkon Shimashita (Shogakukan), and Tsumaneko (Kodansha).

He has also gained widespread acclaim in the world of picture books, earning numerous prestigious awards for his creations. His notable titles include Pantsu-san (published by Poplar Publishing), which won the grand prize at the 25th Japan Picture Book Awards. Another major hit, Neko Iru! (Poplar Publishing), placed 3rd in the 6th Miraiya Picture Book Awards, 5th overall in the MOE Bookshop Awards 2022, and 7th in the 3rd TSUTAYA Picture Book Awards. Furthermore, Obake no Kawa wo Muitara (published by Bunkyosha) was selected for the 13th Libro Picture Book Award, while also ranking 3rd in the MOE Bookshop Awards Newcomer Category and 2nd in the Shizuoka Bookstore Awards.

In addition to his ongoing manga serializations, his multi-talented activities span a wide variety of creative fields, including commercial advertising projects, corporate collaborations, and tie-ins with major television programs.
