Abstract
Humility is a powerful path to success—in work, relationships, learning, good fortune, and financial well-being.
By cultivating habits that turn humility into tangible results, we can transform every aspect of our lives, from our careers and finances to our relationships and opportunities.
This book introduces practical “habits of humble people” rooted in the spirit of altruism advocated by the company’s founder, and explains how readers can begin putting them into practice today.
The founder’s philosophy was that “our lives exist for the benefit of society and others.” At the heart of this philosophy was the importance of humility.
Humility allows us to learn.
Humility fuels motivation.
Humility inspires us to improve the way we work.
Humility deepens our personal appeal.
Humility helps us avoid unnecessary conflict and opposition.
Whether it is professional achievement, motivation, skill development, or building meaningful connections, humility can be the key to lasting success.
The people who quietly and consistently achieve results—without seeking attention or the spotlight—are often the strongest of all. They are the ones who build success that lasts.
Drawing on the experience of a company with 117 years of history, this book reveals the “habits that turn humility into results,” passed down through three generations of its leadership.
Discover the principles that attract trustworthy colleagues and collaborators, open the door to new opportunities, and create the foundation for long-term success.
