Abstract
I'm "Leaf Orange." Out of all the oranges, I'm the only one with a magnificent leaf. Isn't that great? I'm the prettiest and most eye-catching. So naturally, I deserve to be placed on top. Hey, you ordinary oranges. You better make sure you make me stand out. That's how proud "Leaf Orange" was of having a leaf, but one day he lost his precious leaf in a flash, and was devastated! But then his fellow oranges taught him something important— Everyone has surely felt the longing to be "special" and the sadness of accepting "not being special." "Leaf Orange" may be selfish, but for some reason, he might become an endearing character...! This picture book makes you think about "what it means to be your true self." ■Highlights of this picture book - The orange's words and actions are funny! - The simple illustrations are cute! - You'll want to read it again and again!
