Abstract

Particles—often referred to collectively as “Te-Ni-O-Ha”—are essential to Japanese sentence patterns, and mastering them is key to improving Japanese proficiency. Designed for learners of Japanese, this workbook provides focused practice with 25 beginner-level particles, helping learners understand their meanings, functions, and usage. Part 1 explains the basic meaning, function, and usage of each particle. Part 2 compares 14 pairs or groups of particles with similar meanings, clearly highlighting their differences. Part 3 offers practical drills covering all the particles introduced, reinforcing understanding and retention. Partial translations are provided in English, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
