Abstract

I'm currently troubled about something: when is the best time to eat a banana? I can't sleep at night lately. Dad says, "Definitely breakfast." My older sister says, "I eat them at lunchtime." Hana says, "Bananas are a snack." Peter says, "I usually eat them for dinner." Oh, I'm getting more and more confused... I dozed off while researching bananas at the library, and I was struck by the words of a monkey I met in my dream. Recommended book by the Japan Banana Importers Association.

Born in Tokyo in 2001. Graduated from Musashino Art University. Began working as an illustrator and designer while still a student.
She won the Grand Prize at the 3rd Picture Book Contest for "Kurukuru-san" (Gentosha), the Grand Prize at the 14th New Creative Picture Book Awards for "Jagaimo Megane", the Special Jury Prize at the 6th Picture Book College Creative Picture Book Awards for "Ochita", the Excellence Award at the 6th Bilbo Picture Book Awards for "Tonosama Donut", and the Platinum Award at the 1st Read-Aloud Canvas Picture Book Contest for "Shiawase no Polvoron".
I studied picture books at Atosaki Juku.
