Abstract

Another story from "The Cat and the Little Bird," winner of the Japan Picture Book Award and the Picture Book Grand Prize for Parents and Children--the long-awaited sequel!

◆The long-awaited sequel to "The Cat and the Little Bird," winner of the Japan Picture Book Award!
◆Author Hiroshi Tateno and illustrator Mami Nakano team up again. A gem of a fantasy presented with overwhelming scale and beautiful, detailed illustrations.
◆A blue bird searching for a magnolia branch and a cat born without the ability to smell. Hearts communicating, lives connected--what future will blossom beyond? This work, a counterpart to the previous work "The Cat and the Little Bird," is told from the bird's perspective, and the world expands more richly through the two works.

With overwhelming scale and beautiful, detailed illustrations, it warmly depicts hearts communicating, lives connected—and the future that blossoms beyond.
