Abstract

The "omotenashi" (Japanese hospitality) that business people around the world admire, is embodied in the "tea ceremony." Overseas, the tea ceremony is considered synonymous with Japan. Can you explain terms related to the tea ceremony, such as Sen no Rikyu, wabi-sabi, Omotesenke, and Urasenke? In the West, talking about one's own culture is a way to express one's identity. Learn the "knowledge of the tea ceremony" taught by the author, a global tea ceremony practitioner, and use that knowledge to advance your business in the West. Furthermore, the tea ceremony is a comprehensive traditional culture, and by studying it, you will also gain an understanding of flower arrangement, Zen, and other arts. This book clearly explains the tea ceremony, where one knowledge leads to the acquisition of many other areas of knowledge. Let's master the 500-year history of the tea ceremony.
