Abstract

When diagnosed with cancer:
"What is going to happen to me?"
"Where should I get treatment?"
"Should I get a second opinion?"
"How much is the treatment actually going to cost?"
This book answers the questions and anxieties that so many people face.

A comprehensive book covering everything you need to know, including the latest information on the disease, choosing a hospital, second opinions, selecting and proceeding with treatment, financial matters, and daily life.

Today, with 1 in 2 people facing a cancer diagnosis, cancer is no longer a rare disease.
However, a diagnosis of "cancer" is heavy for anyone, and even when trying to gather information, many people find themselves overwhelmed and unsure where to start.
This book presents reliable, systematically organized information—with the trust that only a book can provide—in an easy-to-understand manner.
