Abstract

It's a dark night road. Oh, something eerie is faintly visible... "Hey, hey, fox over there. Yes, you, you. Can you guess who I am?" "Huh, perhaps... a will-o'-the-wisp...? Eek!" "Ta-da! It's a cabbage. Hohohoho." Strange things begin to happen in front of a fox walking down a dark night road. Illuminated by the light of the moon that appears and disappears, slightly scary and funny shadows appear, asking, "Who am I?" Will-o'-the-wisps? Umbrella ghosts? --But their true identities are vegetables and food! Each shadow that appears one after another is unique. Okada Yoshitaka's signature off-target predictions and unexpected answers are repeated, making it fun for the reader to think along with him, just like a silhouette quiz. But why are all these foods gathered on such a dark road at night...? The fox is surprised to hear that there's a party tonight. "A party on a road like this at night?" The ingredients that have gathered together are transformed into delicious dishes, and soon the main character appears. A story filled with a little bit of excitement, a few chuckles, and the fun of quizzes.
