Abstract

In an era where anyone can communicate in English thanks to AI translation, why is it necessary to learn English?

The measure of English proficiency is shifting from "how many points you can get" to "what you can do." This cutting-edge English learning book anticipates this new era.

An IT consultant who uses English in his daily work and an interpreting researcher who "explores the relationship between language and thought" have meticulously considered an English learning method that "uses AI to surpass AI." In an age where we can leave "reading and writing" to AI, what sets you apart from the person next to you is the ability to accurately understand what the other person is saying and instantly respond with heartfelt words in English. This book clearly explains, with theoretical backing, the fundamental training of "sound," "form," and "intention" to efficiently hone this ability.

▼What you will learn from this book:
- When you should and shouldn't actively use AI ・How to dramatically boost your English skills
- Shadowing to turn "understanding" into "being able to do"
- How FrameNet works to improve your vocabulary
- Have AI create personalized vocabulary and short sentence lists
- How to practice with AI that considers your position and background
- What you can do to avoid getting nervous when talking to people from other countries
- Tips for continuing to study English when you're busy

- People who want to know how to study independently every day
- People who want to work abroad or with people from other countries
- People who want to effectively use AI
- People who want to try practical methods used in interpreter training
