Born and lives in Ishikawa prefecture. Debuted in 1981 with "Wave Elegy." Her representative works include the "Dream Tales from Uryudo" series of antique-related mysteries, which has been serialized for over 30 years, and her "Kyoka Mugen," a collection of works based on the dramas of Kyoka Izumi.
