"Love Like the Falling Petals" is the story of Haruto, who falls in love with Misaki, a hairdresser. Determined to win her approval, he decides to recommit to his abandoned dream of becoming a photographer. Misaki is moved by Haruto's efforts to achieve his dream, and the two eventually become sweethearts. However, the happy times don't last long. Misaki develops an incurable disease that causes her to age much faster than normal.

Keisuke Uyama was born in 1983 in Kanagawa Prefecture. He wrote the scripts for hit TV dramas and movies, including "Switch Girl," "Color Me True," and "Nobunaga Concerto." Uyama is the author of novels, including "Girls’ Step," "Color Me True," and "Love Like the Falling Petals."
