Abstract
The problem that indie authors need to solve before publication is to determine if their work infringes on the rights of others. In this lecture, Ryo Takano explains the key points of copyright law from an author's point of view, and invites Kensaku Fukui, a leading lawyer in the field of intellectual property rights and the supervisor of Kurikage, to explain the impact of copyright, which is about to be changed by the TPP, on Comiket, Aozora Bunko, and the conversion of TV programs to DVD.
(Lecture date: December 19, 2015)
