Abstract

An action historical novel about a chivalrous man, based on the true story of Suga Shuzaburo, who established the Ouetsu Alliance, fought the Boshin War to the end, and as a retainer of the Shonai Clan, never lost a battle to the government forces.
Suga Shuzaburo surprised Saigo Takamori, who took command of the government forces. After the Meiji Restoration, he prevented the transfer of the clan to Aizu and kept his hometown Shonai Domain as Yamagata Prefecture. As Saigō's brother-in-law in the Civil War, he frightened Iwakura Tomomi and Okubo Toshimichi of the Meiji government.

Author’s Information

Born in Kanazawa City in 1945. After graduating from Keio University, he joined Shogakukan. After graduating from Keio University, he joined Shogakukan and later moved to Bandai, where he became a director at the age of 28 and president at the age of 35. He has served as President of the Digital Media Association of Japan. He is currently the President of Long Tail Live Station Inc. He is the author of many books, including "Burning in Young Blood" (Liberal Time Publishing Co., Ltd.), "1968: The Beginning of the End" (Kodansha Ltd.), "Distant Long Dream" (Nisshin Hodo), and "My Father's Back" (Tokijosha).
