Abstract
Have you seen rosettes of leaves?
The word "rosette" came from the flower of "ROSE" in French.
Plants like dandelion, growing circular spreading radiating leaves look like petals of a rose, so their structure got called "rosette".
Their sitting shape near the soil catches the energy of sunlight effectively.
What kind of wild grasses survive over a winter in forms of rossette?
Let's start a field observation together!
