Abstract

“G・DEFEND” written by Shuw Morimoto is one of the longest-running BL manga in Japan. This very popular story of love and battle has been around for about 30 years, and the latest 69 volume is coming out this fall.
　 This story takes place in virtual Japan. There, the National Diet is attacked by political terrorists and a new security system, the Diet Security Force, is established. The main character Haruka Ishikawa is the captain of this Force. While the previous captains were killed in the line of duty, Haruka has managed to evade numerous attacks thanks to the desperate efforts of his lover SP Iwase.
