Abstract

This is a compact illustration and photographic bird guide which covers 242 species one can see in Japan. In spite of its pretty appearance, the contents is a full scale. Highly recommended as the first bird guide to own.

Author’s Information

Takuya Kanouchi is a freelance photographer. He worked as a landscape architect for 9 years after graduating the Tokyo University of Agriculture. He then became a photographer and is known for photographing wild birds. He is an author of numerous publications.

Takahide Mizutani is a freelance illustrator. He graduated from Musashino Art University Junior College of Art and Design. He has published numerous books. He received the 40th Sankei Children's Book Award.
