Abstract

Macrame is originated in the South America. They are created by repeats of winding and tying. This book precisely explains basic methods and even beginners are able to produce 43 beautiful and modern designs of accessories and small articles. Very basic winding and tying processes are shown with movie-like photos.Then, processes of each design are described with photos and illustration.

This autor is artist of macrame. He travelled in the South America about 3 years and he was fascinated macrame. He taught himself the technique of tying strings and created his product. After returning to Japan, he teaches at his school and makes products.
