Abstract
Making good questions has the power to find a breakthrough and to create an innovative idea!
The author is a business consultant, and his job is just visiting a company and making questions to them. He never advices them on “what should be done” or gives them the answers. It may sound strange, but just making good questions leads to create big changes and innovation on the client side.
Business is the repetitive succession of “finding an idea” and “making an action”. You need to sort out problems and goals in front of you, find solutions and make actions again and again. For this process, a good question can be a trigger to “organize ideas”, “create new ideas” and “motivate people”.
You can refer to books, seminars or consultants to learn about case studies or new ideas to get a “clue”. It is, however, just a clue and not the “answer”. The current business environment and consumer awareness are changing faster than ever, so what was correct in the past may not be acceptable anymore.
When you are faced with a problem, you already have the answer in you. Making a good question helps you to draw out the answer that you already have but you haven’t realized it yet.
