Abstract

Masako Watanabe is the oldest active manga artist, with many masterpieces such as "Saint Rosalind," "The Glass Castle," and "Jin Ping Mei." This book includes three of her early hit short stories, including "The House of Flowers."

Born in 1929. Debuted with "The Little Prince" in 1952, she is a pioneering female manga artist and continues to write today. Her representative works include "The Glass Castle," "Saint Rosalind," and "Jin Ping Mei." In 2006, she became the first female manga artist to receive the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette.
