Yuzuki Asako was born in Tokyo in 1981. She graduated from the Department of French Literature at Rikkyo University's College of Literature. In 2008, she won the 88th All Yomimono Newcomer Award for "Forget Me, Not Blue." She made her debut with the book "The Girl at the End Point" (Bungeishunju), which included the award-winning work.
