Abstract

A seaside port town with a mermaid legend. Ayumi, a young man has returned to his hometown after having his dream broken in the city. And he learns that his first love, Mika, has returned to the town, too.
Ayumi is elated, but her homecoming is due to the death of her husband. Ayumi feels a stirring in her heart at the shade in Mika's eyes, which do not say much.
One night, when Ayumi sees Mika diving into the sea, he jumps into the water himself, even though he cannot swim.
