Abstract

This book features photos of Tora-chan the cat and his numerous answers to one question, “What’s on your mind, Tora-chan?”

Late at night, Shota enjoys a glass of bourbon or two, that’s when Tora-chan starts pondering on, then Shota asks what's on his mind and Tora-chan answers;
“I think about the difference between the word ‘attraction’ and ‘affection’. It might be little too difficult for you to understand.”
On a different night, he answers
“I think about the past, the memories of that thing or that person, they are too dazzling and bright to see, which are the past.”
Or “will you scratch my back if I answer?” he quips.

This is not an ordinary cat photo book but rather a book of philosophy where one throws a question to a cat, and the cat questions back.
All the 200 pages are designed in 200 different styles by art director, UEDA Go.
