Abstract

Born in Tokyo in 1953. Graduated from Bachelor of Oriental Culture at Waseda University, and published "A Fantasy Trip to Northern Italy (北イタリア幻想旅行)" in 1987. In 1991, "Murder at the Amber Castle (琥珀の城の殺人)" was shortlisted for the 2nd Tetsuya Ayukawa Award, and was published as one of the "Golden Thirteen (黄金の13)" by Tokyo Sogensha the following year. She has written a wide range of novels, from mysteries to novels of legend and fantasy. Her writing style is characterized by fluidity.
