Author’s Information

Born in 1968 in Chiba Prefecture. In 2006, he won the 86th All Yomimono New Writers Prize for Ura e Hashiri Kerikome. His book debut came in 2008 with ROCKER (Poplar Publishing), which received the Excellence Award in the Poplar Publishing Novel Award. His novel Hito (Shodensha) was ranked second in the 2019 Japan Booksellers’ Award.
