Abstract

The previous work, "Distance My #stayhome Diary" (April 7, 2020 - April 7, 2021), documented daily life in the year following the first declaration of a state of emergency, which was issued on April 7, 2020. The sequel, "Essential My #stayhome Diary 2021-2022," contains 163 works from April 2021 to April 2022.

Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and Setsu Mode Seminar. Machiko Kyo has been active as a writer and illustrator since she was student, and her one-page manga series ""Sennen Gahou"", which she started on her blog in 2004, gained popularity through word of mouth. Her serialized works in magazines include ""Mikako-san,"" ""Cocoon,"" ""Anone,"" and many others. She is known for her transparent, blue-based color works about adolescent boys and girls, and also does a lot of illustration work.
