Abstract

"When someone tells a lie, their voice sounds like an echo to me..."
Early Showa Era, Japan. Kanoko, a girl with the special ability to hear other people's lies, is shunned by the villagers in her hometown and comes to the city alone. She collapses from hunger and is saved by Soma Iwai.
She begins to feel comfortable living with Soma, but one day Soma found out her ability. She thinks that she has to get away from him, but Soma says, "You can do great things!"
"You and I together can help a lot of people!" he talks to Kanoko. Thus she becomes an assistant to Soma, who runs a detective agency, and started a new life...!
