Through painstaking interviews with patients, family members, doctors, physiotherapists, and others involved, we have learned a part of how stroke survivors see the world!

The truth about stroke that can only be told by those who have suffered a stroke.
This book is full of hints to support "the life of the family and the patient so as not to be defeated by the disease," which cannot be supported by medical treatment.

Stroke is the fourth leading cause of death in Japan. Although it is one of the most alarming diseases, there is little information about the actual conditions of people who experience the disease and their families who support their rehabilitation.

This book is designed to answer questions such as, "What happens to my body after a stroke? What is the treatment?　What about the aftereffects? What about rehabilitation? What should family members and others do? What will I do with my life? The "reality" of stroke, as seen by patients and their families, has been captured in a comic book based on interviews with the patients themselves.

This is an unlikely book from the perspective of a family member (caregiver) who understands the patient.
