Abstract

A collection of watercolor works by 28 members of the Japan Watercolor Society (JWS), to which many popular watercolor painters who are active all over Japan and around the world belong. More than 100 works. There are plenty of subjects such as flowers, people, still lifes, cats, etc. centering on the landscape, and it is enough to see. Moreover, this book is not just an art book. More than half of all pages are devoted to introducing the painting materials used by each painter and techniques that are important points in production, including photographs. In addition, the production process of the six painters is explained in detail using process photographs.
