Author’s Information
Born in 1965.
He was fascinated by climbing movies when he was in elementary school, and spent his teenage years climbing.
Since his 20s, he has practiced climbing in the Himalayas and other parts of the world, and continues to climb actively.
He is the author of "Vertical Memory" and "Alpinism and Death" (both published by Yama-kei Publishers) and two critical biographies about him, "Solo" (written by Naoki Maruyama, Yama-kei Publishers) and "Frozen" (written by Kotaro Sawaki, Shinchosha).
