Abstract

In this book, we will take up the theme of how to express the "white part" on the screen, such as snow, light, and white petals, from among the characteristic techniques of ink painting. Kazue Kuyama, Rokkendo Fujiwara, Kaichiro Negishi, Yosui Matsui, 4 the painter explains in detail along with the process of creating the work. In ink painting, where the contrast between black and white produces a decisive effect, we will teach you how to arrange "white" more effectively and draw various "white" facial expressions. In addition, works by Haku Rou, Shin Uchiya, and kojin Ban are also recorded, and various approaches to the "white area" are introduced.
