Abstract
Focusing on fruit trees planted in the garden, this book explains how to choose fruit trees, points to note before planting, and points to note after planting in a form that is common to all fruit trees. In addition, it picks up 25 popular and noteworthy fruit trees and provides easy-to-understand explanations of how to artificially pollinate them, how to harvest them, and tips on pruning them.
Author’s Information
Born in Sekigahara, Gifu Prefecture in 1981. Assistant professor at Chiba University's Center for Environmental Health and Field Sciences. Specializes in fruit horticulture. Served as a lecturer on NHK's "Hobby Gardening" where he suggests ways to easily enjoy fruit trees at home.
