Abstract

The "ultimate life" that continues to live today, undecayed for hundreds or thousands of years. It is also a proof that it has been revered and worshipped by human beings.
It is great, majestic, extraordinary, and somehow terrifying.
This exhibition explores 69 sacred trees from all over Japan that have shaken the souls of those who have seen them.
Why did these trees become "sacred trees" and why are we so fascinated by them?
It is a novel nonfiction work that reveals the inner spirituality of the Japanese people.

Born in Kumamoto, Japan in 1963. Nonfiction writer and editor. Has long been involved in editing, producing, and composing a series of religious books, mainly for the general public.
