Abstract

Ten years after the accident, the cause of the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant is still unknown. This is because the accident may have been caused by an earthquake, not a tsunami. How can nuclear power plants be restarted when the cause of the accident is still unknown? Can we continue to produce nuclear waste, which is absolutely impossible for human beings to coexist with, for the sake of economic efficiency? This is an issue that concerns our right to exist. This is not just idealism, but a concrete and realistic guide to nuclear power plant phase-out.
