Abstract
Maruei-sha, where the talented editor Ushigawara Kanji works, attracts freelancers, housewives, and others who dream of publishing books. What is the joint press method that Ushigawara proposes to them? This problematic work sharply captures the inflated self-consciousness and distorted desires of modern people.
