Abstract

Hideaki Anno's "Shin" series is a conscious "re-creation" based on the history of "otaku. This provocative art theory explores the origins of its methods and aesthetics. It consists of Chapter 1, "The Historiography of the Red Eiffel Tower," Chapter 2, "The Third Village Issue and Local Films," and Chapter 3, "Original Form and Maturity.
