Abstract

Even in ink painting, if you draw a landscape, there are always buildings where people live, and these play an important role as the theme and the scenery. Among them, shrines and temples are found all over Japan, and there are scenic spots that attract people, and there are impressive cityscapes everywhere from old roads to skyscrapers. The scenery of Japan can be said to be a treasure trove of themes. This book contains explanations and works of drawing methods such as temples and shrines, cityscapes, castles and bridges by Kazue Kuyama, Sho Ito, and Kaichiro Negishi, and works of Japanese and overseas buildings by Yosui Matsui and Rokkendo Fujiwara. At the end of the book, the writing team and the editorial department selected from among writers and enthusiasts who draw with the theme of buildings, and recorded their works.
