Abstract

Once planted, Perennial plants do not need to be replanted, and they repeatedly produce beautiful flowers and foliage. This book explains how to create a small garden that makes the most of the charms of these plants. Theoretical understanding of how to select, arrange, and combine plants. Includes a plant book for use in small gardens.

Author’s Information

Yoko Abe is a garden designer and landscape architect. Belongs to "Katakuri Kobo" in Kani Gun, Gifu Prefecture. She designs and constructs public, corporate, and private gardens throughout Japan from her model garden, "Garzzz." She is a judge for the Gifu International Rose Contest. Also active in the "Gifu World Rose Garden" in Gifu Prefecture. As a member of the American Society for Horticultural Therapy, she also constructs hospital gardens using the knowledge and techniques he learned at conferences in the U.S. (This data was published at the time this book was published.)
