Hiroko Mizushima graduated from Keio University School of Medicine and completed the graduate course at the same university (M.D.). After working at the Department of Neuropsychiatry, Keio University School of Medicine, she served as a member of the House of Representatives from June 2000 to August 2005. In 1997, she co-translated and published "Interpersonal Therapy for Depression". Since its publication in 1997, he has been a leading authority on interpersonal therapy in Japan, and has been working to spread the use of interpersonal therapy in clinical practice and to raise awareness of its benefits. He is currently the director of a clinic specializing in interpersonal therapy, a part-time lecturer at Keio University School of Medicine (Department of Neuropsychiatry), the representative sponsor of the Society for Interpersonal Therapy, and the representative of Attitudinal Healing Japan (this data was published at the time this book was published).
