Abstract

A collection of dialogues between Abe Toshiyuki, a watercolor painter who is drawing attention from around the world, and Hiroaki Kosugi, a chemist who has continued research at a leading Japanese art material manufacturer, on watercolor art materials and techniques. The chemist will clarify from the standpoint of an expert while introducing a wealth of materials and plates to the questions that the painter had about painting materials in general. In addition, the painter will explain how to draw using the characteristics of such painting materials with photographs.
