Abstract

This is a revised version of "The Most Helpful Hand Sewing Textbook," which collects and easily explains the points that ordinary people have questions about. New examples of "masks" and "eco bags" have been added. A wide range of works, from basic hand sewing to kimono remodeling, are also included with patterns.

Author’s Information

Born in Aoyama, Tokyo. After graduating from the Handicraft Department of Bunka Fashion College, she has been active for over 40 years as a craftsperson proposing easy hand sewing techniques for first-time crafters. She holds hand sewing classes in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. She has written over 100 books, including "Easy and Beautiful: Remaking Kimono with Hand Sewing" (Seitosha).
