Abstract

Who is No. 1 in the animal kingdom? The battle between animals with incredible physical abilities begins now. Animals compete for first place in each field on land, in water, and in the air. This is a reissue of the "Animal Battle Olympics" published in July 2021 with a new title.

Author’s Information

[Tatsuro Saneyoshi] Born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1929. Animal researcher and author. After graduating from Tokyo University of Agriculture, he worked at the Imperial Household Agency's Shimousa Imperial Farm (Sarizuka Imperial Farm) and Nogeyama Zoo. In 1955, he traveled to Brazil. After returning to Japan, he became a leading authority on animal research and appeared on many media outlets, including television programs, while continuing to write. He is also known as the person who named the unidentified animal "UMA." (This data was published at the time this book was published.)
