Abstract
This is a watercolor painting book that explains in detail with step-by-step photos and text the process of sketching things close at hand, such as fruits and cups, and finishing a work of art by theme, such as plants, landscapes, people, and animals. While introducing beautiful transparent watercolor works, it also explains the process of completing them.
Author’s Information
Born in Fukuoka in 1959. Graduated from the Department of Oil Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 1983 (recipient of the Ataka Prize and Ohashi Prize). Completed the Master's course at the Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts in 1985. Completed the Doctoral course at the Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts in 1988. Opened Atelier 21 in 1999. (This data was listed at the time this book was published.)
