Abstract

This book is aimed at beginners growing vegetables, as well as intermediate growers who want to try various things. It covers 110 types of vegetables, and provides a comprehensive explanation of the key points and tips for growing them, divided into leafy, fruity, and root-based vegetables. It also covers "useful trivia to know" and "how to store and eat them."

Graduated from Chiba University's Faculty of Horticulture in 1976. Former Associate Professor at Chiba University's Center for Environmental Health and Field Sciences. Specializes in vegetable horticulture. Currently, he is a self-employed farmer in Mashiko and also teaches horticulture.
