Linguist (forensic linguistics and psycholinguistics). Professor at Meiji University. Graduated from the Department of English and American Literature, Faculty of Letters, Toyo University in 1991. Completed his doctoral course at the Department of Linguistics, University of Chicago, USA in 1999. Became an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law, Ritsumeikan University in 2000. Completed his master's course at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Canada in 2005. Left the same university with the required credits in 2008. Became an associate professor at the Faculty of Law, Meiji University in 2008. Became a professor at the Faculty of Law, Meiji University in 2010.
