Professor Emeritus at Kobe University (Graduate School of Economics) and Visiting Professor at the Open University of Japan. Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1953. Completed the Master's program at the Kobe University Graduate School of Economics in 1978. Graduated from Yale University in the United States from 1980 to 1982. Visiting researcher at the University of British Columbia in Canada from 1993 to 1994. Published "An Introduction to Statistics Made Easy with Manga" (published by Shinsei Publishing) and many other books. (This data was listed at the time the book was published.)
