Abstract

The first official novel for the popular action game "Touken Ranbu Musou". A novelization based on the story of "Touken Ranbu Musou". An original story is also included. The year is 2205. An attack on the past has begun by "historical revisionists" who are trying to change history. To stop this, the government of the time has appointed "Saniwa" as the guardians of history. The "Touken Danshi" are Tsukumogami spirits that are excited by the Saniwa. They go back in time and fight to defeat the Time Retrograde Army. Meanwhile, the "Honmaru" where they live is attacked by the Time Retrograde Army. After a fierce battle, they defeat the Time Retrograde Army, but lose their friends and the Saniwa and are forced to drift. Time passes, and the government of the time gives the remaining fifteen Touken Danshi a mission called "assault investigation". With their last hope in their hearts, they set out into the war-torn land. They will reunite with their former masters, such as Oda Nobunaga, Date Masamune, and Ishida Mitsunari, and encounter a mysterious character... What awaits them at the end of this mission?
