“Kintsugi” can make such a wish come true.
In this book, the author, who is both a cartoonist and a lacquer artist,

Author’s Information

Born in Toyama prefecture. He is a lacquer cartoonist. He graduated from the National Takaoka Junior College (now the University of Toyama, Faculty of Arts and Culture) majoring in lacquer crafts. He graduated from the Ishikawa Prefectural Wajima Lacquerware Technical Training Institute. After working at a cultural property restoration company, he made his debut as a manga artist in 2003 while working as a craftsman at a lacquer shop. Since then, he has been active in the fields of lacquer and manga. His books include “Seishun Urushi! Urushi Club” (Seirin Kogeisha). He hosts a Kintsugi workshop called Kintsugi-bu in the suburbs of Tokyo. He strives to popularize Kintsugi. (As of December 2017)
